LEO AGCOLICOL
One of the most prominent leaders and businessmen in Maui’s Filipino community, Leo Agcolicol is also one of the longest-serving radio hosts on the Valley Isle. Leo has been an on-air personality on KNUI-AM since 1974. He currently hosts a morning show on Mondays, Wednesday and Fridays, as well as an evening show on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
A Vietnam veteran, Leo currently works as Financial Officer and Assistant Vice President in the Business Banking Division at the Kahului Branch of Central Pacific Branch.
He has served the community in any numbers of ways, including being a current board member of the Maui Arts and Cultural Center and the J. Walter Cameron Center. He’s also served on the boards of Maui Crime Stoppers, Maui Memorial Hospital Foundation, the Salvation Army and the March of Dimes. He is a member of the VFW Post 3850, DAV Maui and the Maui Chamber of Commerce.
Agcolicol is the current president of Paoay Currimao Hawaii Organization on Maui and past president of the United Filipino Cultural Club and the Maui Filipino Chamber of Commerce, as well as serving on the board of various other Filipino community organizations.
